I have been working on a new site recently for my new job with SpringsHosting.com and the framework we are using for this site is called ELGG, its a facebook type framework where you can build communities and things of that nature.

When i initially started working with Elgg I noticed that it doesn't have much in the way of documentation or module support. There are very few working modules and part of the project was building an incorporation with Facebook, so we will be releasing a facebook plugin for elgg 1.5 onto the elgg site, and i'll put a download up here on the site too.

I wrote this for Monarch Digital, its a flash player with a really easy to use interface, it can be customized to use your companies logo instead of Monarch Digital's.
The data is being pulled using a feed, this was created using CoverFlow its an awesome swc to use and very functional, writing the 3D modifier was actually fairly easy.

this is Beth Shapiro, one smart gorgeous lady :D talking about ancient DNA and the possibilities of cloning ancient animals that are extinct, and giving a broad overview of DNA harvesting from old animals. Its interesting, I knew that DNA had a half-life but I didn't think it was that short, it appears that were not getting any dinosaurs anytime soon, but I'm holding out on that.

Ok so this is really cool, this guy has a great talk about intelligent design and evolution. This can be a very touchy subject for a lot of people. Watch this, it might open your eyes. It doesn't bash either way, but really shows the facts for both positions concerning our development or non-development.
